Domain Name

A Domain Name is a unique name that denotes a company, organization, society, or group on the Internet. The domain name always consists of two parts separated by a period. The left most part is the more specific part and is always unique. The second part is a general name and denotes type of entity that domain belongs to such as commercial, network, government, military, etc.
